Getting started

Your first 15 minutes

The fastest path from a blank account to a first classified AI system: create the workspace, verify your email, walk the first-run wizard, register a system, and read the Dashboard.

Updated Veritome documentation

This is the fastest path from a blank account to a first classified AI system. After you verify your email and sign in, Veritome opens the first-run wizard and walks you through it — your organisation, your role, your team, a short tour, then your first system. The journey resumes where you left it if you close the tab, and a workspace that already has systems is never sent back into it.

Step 1 — Create your workspace

  1. Go to the sign-in page and choose Create account.
  2. Fill in your full name, a work email, your organisation name, and a password (confirmed, and meeting the strength policy shown as you type).
  3. Tick the box to accept the Subscription Agreement, Data Processing Agreement and Disclaimer, then create the account. You can also start with Google, or with Continue with SSO if your organisation has single sign-on configured.

This creates your organisation and your admin user in one step. Everything you do from here is isolated to your organisation. During early access the workspace is created with the early-access rate locked in — see Plans, billing and upgrades.

Step 2 — Verify your email and sign in

  1. Check your inbox for the verification message and open the link. It is single-use and expires after 24 hours.
  2. On success you land on a confirmation screen — choose Sign in. Signing in takes you straight to the wizard.
  3. Lost or expired link? The verify-email page and the sign-in screen both offer to send a fresh one.

Step 3 — The first-run wizard

Three short screens with a stepper (Company · Your role · Team), then the tour:

  1. Company — confirm the organisation's name, pick its size band (micro, small, medium or large, in the EU Recommendation 2003/361 sense), and optionally upload a logo. This seeds the organisation profile; everything is editable later under Organisation.
  2. Your role — founder or C-level, compliance and legal, data protection officer, engineering or product, operations, or something else. This is what you do, not what you may click; it only tunes defaults and suggested next steps. Access control is your app role, set on the next screen and under Members & roles.
  3. Team — enter colleagues' emails and pick a role for each (the default is Compliance officer). Each row sends a real invitation, the same one Organisation → Members & roles sends. Leave the rows empty to move on; you can always invite people later.
  4. Tour — four slides of the product on real screens: classification, the generated obligations, sealed documents, and Aria. Arrow keys page it; Skip tour → ends it.

The last slide's button is Register your first AI system →.

Step 4 — Register your first AI system

The guided flow opens with a first-run band and a way out — Skip for now — take me to the dashboard — if you would rather look around first. Otherwise: eight screens and a review. Name the system and say what it does; pick your role; answer the Art. 25 and Art. 27 duty questions; say whether you place a GPAI model on the market; screen the Art. 5 prohibited practices; pick the Annex III area and answer Art. 6(3); tick the Art. 50 transparency triggers; answer the five GDPR questions; then confirm. Aria can draft the reasoning; the answers are yours. On Create, the engine generates the obligations, the classification dossier opens with a sealed first entry, and the six-phase journey starts. See Register your first AI system.

Step 5 — Read the Dashboard

The Dashboard now answers where do we stand, and what is next: five counts with denominators, the programmes and their next step, the action queue, five items of work this week behind a gate, the dates split into statutory and planned, and the regulatory updates. See Understand the Dashboard.

A small Get started with Veritome checklist floats at the bottom-left until it is done: verify your email, complete the organisation profile (its contact email and country), turn on two-factor authentication, add a system, classify one, complete an obligation. Minimise it to a pill or dismiss it. At the foot of the Dashboard, Workspace setup and product tour offers Replay tour (the same four slides, nothing re-persisted) and Finish setup.

Step 6 — Invite the rest of the team

Compliance is a team sport — assign owners so obligations do not stall on one person. Organisation → Members & roles is where invitations, roles and removals live; see Invite your team and assign owners. Then put an owner on every obligation: the Dashboard treats an unowned duty as a gate, and the items beneath it stay locked until it clears.
